30-Day Return Window
We offer a 30-day return policy from the date of delivery on eligible LOCKOUT ID hardware purchases. Returns initiated within this window may qualify for a full refund of the product purchase price, subject to the conditions below.
Eligibility
To qualify for a refund, returned items must meet all of the following:
- Returned within 30 days of delivery
- Received in as-new condition (unused, undamaged, and in original packaging where applicable)
- Include all tags, accessories, and components originally shipped with the order
- Be accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or invoice)
Items that show signs of field use, physical damage, missing components, or altered identifiers may be declined or refunded at a reduced amount at our discretion.
Shipping
The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable carrier and retaining your tracking number until your return is processed. Northern Power and Safety Solutions, LLC is not liable for items lost or damaged in transit on the return shipment.
Contact us before shipping so we can confirm return eligibility and provide the correct return address.
Refund Timing
Refunds are issued after we receive and inspect the returned product and confirm it is in as-new condition. Once approved, refunds are credited to the original payment method. Please allow additional time for your bank or card issuer to post the credit.
How to Start a Return
- Email support@lockoutids.com or call +1 617-340-3061 with your order number and reason for return.
- Wait for return authorization and shipping instructions.
- Pack items securely and ship to the address we provide. Include your order number on the outside of the package.
- We will notify you when your refund has been processed.
Exclusions
This policy applies to physical LOCKOUT ID tag hardware. It does not cover:
- Annual portal licenses or subscription fees (contact us for billing questions)
- Products damaged through misuse, modification, or normal wear after field deployment
- Items covered under our separate RMA program for damaged tags under an active license (see your license terms)
