I am a creator by nature. I grew up with computers and the internet. I went into machining at some really cool places, like Gillette and Titleist. I enjoyed creating something useful from nothing. At first it was razors and golf balls from molds and raw stock. Lately it has been a new passion for innovating through technology and code.
My passion is in finding solutions for problems, which make jobs easier. I hate wasting time. I am blessed to have people come to me with problems that they know can be solved through technology. Enter Lockout IDs. Like most of my ideas, they start on a piece of paper. The goal was to simplify the current LOTO tagging procedure using technology.
Lockout IDs went from paper, to CAD, to 3D Printer to the field to test. A rich cloud backend takes standard smart devices and QR code technology to identify tags and owners. Simple touch to dial via a BAB. (Big @ss Button) gets you to the owner in a quick tap.
